GASPAC Honor Roll FY 2007-2008
The GASPAC Honor Roll for fiscal year 2007-2008 is available on the CSA home page under Hot Topics at www.csahq.org. Check to see if your name is there, and keep in mind that in June 2008, the dues statements for FY 2008-2009 will be mailed. You will have an opportunity to make the list for next year by making your donations when you receive the dues statement.
As stated in the honor roll, there is a new and expanding Gold Level of GASPAC contributors (minimum $500 contribution) whose names have asterisks next to them. Of course, the CSA encourages every member to become a Gold Level contributor and join the select circle of outstanding CSA leaders.
Call for Resolutions
Any CSA member may submit a resolution to the House of Delegates (your elected representatives) on any issue that you deem important. A resolution is a proposal that the CSA undertake an activity related to a current issue of concern to anesthesiologists. For example, a resolution might recommend that the CSA develop a guide on issues that should be addressed when contracting with a billing service. For assistance in formulating a resolution, you are welcome to contact Linda B. Hertzberg, M.D., Speaker of the House of Delegates, at firstname.lastname@example.org, Johnathan Pregler, M.D., Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates, at email@example.com, or Barbara Baldwin, CEO, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The House of Delegates will meet on Saturday, May 31, as part of the CSA Annual Meeting at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, Universal City, California. A reference committee meets Friday evening to hear testimony on all matters to be considered by the House. For more information, contact the CSA office (650) 345-3020, (800) 345-3691, fax (650) 345-3269.
The deadline for submissions is April 21, 2008.
