Another year, another pair of incredible CSA, UCLA DAPM, PLTW field trips in the books! Thanks to the efforts of our entire team, we delivered yet another unforgettable experience – earning high praise from our partnership teachers at Venice High School and El Segundo High School who shared that we continue to exceed expectations year after year.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who makes these annual field trips to the UCLA operative rooms possible, including the CSA Foundation for Education, UCLA Medical Center leadership and support services, and UCLA DAPM leadership and community.
A special recognition goes to our amazing UCLA DAPM resident and faculty volunteers who represented our department and specialty so well, including Drs. Belle Benanzea-Fontem, Soroush Kazemi, Linda Li, Jure Marijic, Sara Navab, Thibault Philippine, Wendy Ren, Dane Saksa, Sam Snider, Judi Turner, Lauren Vajda, and future doctors Adan Rodriguez and George Ayad (who even starred as our demo patient!).
