CSA has developed a suite of resources to help you prepare for the oral board exam. Candidates for the upcoming exam can take free mock oral exams administered by experienced CSA members, and we’ve developed an extensive suite of online resources to help both residents and registered exam candidates prepare. The CSA is offering free online mock oral exams to upcoming exam candidates. Each realistic 35-minute exam, delivered by an experienced CSA mock examiner, followed by 15 minutes of personalized feedback.

Exam Overview
This introductory video describes the features of the CSA Oral Boards Project. Follow-up videos will delve into successful preparation strategies, the structure of the standardized oral exam and how it uniquely tests key attributes that are not easily tested by written exams. You will need to employ novel study techniques, in order to sharpen the skills needed to excel on the oral boards. Fortunately, these are skills that you’ve already developed during your training, and skills that will serve you well throughout your career.
