Zoom-Based High-Quality Mock Oral Exams
In addition to the CSA Written and Video Knowledge banks, the CSA is offering an Oral Board Mock Exam program to CSA members who are taking the APPLIED exam in 2024.
To create the most realistic experience, arrange to take your exam in a private room, using only a clipboard, pen and blank sheet of paper. When the zoom meeting begins, you will have up to 10 minutes alone to review the stem and take notes. Let your examiner when you’re ready to begin (just turn on your camera and say you’re ready). Then your examiner will activate their camera, stop screen-sharing, you’ll introduce yourself and the 35-minute exam will begin.
After the exam, you’ll have 20 minutes for discussion and feedback. We will also email you a feedback survey. Please ensure that you are not on call or working a shift where you may get stuck doing clinical work during the zoom exam window that you set with the volunteer CSA mock examiner who is volunteering their time to work with you.
