Represent Your Peers on CSA’s House of Delegate – Nominations Now Open

By Philip Levin, MD, FASA

The 2023 election season kicked off last week and it’s your chance to get involved in CSA’s leadership. Each year CSA launches an open nomination period for representatives of the geographic districts and mode-of-practice forums.

If you are looking for an opportunity to engage with CSA or taking a new step in advocating for your specialty and your peers, getting involved in CSA’s leadership as a director or delegate is a unique opportunity to do just that.

Becoming a CSA district or forum director or delegate will allow you to shape the future of the CSA, help ensure its success, and serve your society, fellow physician anesthesiologists, and patients.

If you are interested, I highly encourage you to self-nominate through our process. Nominations are now open and will be accepted until February 10th.

Interested members should first visit the CSA 2023 nominations homepage, where you can find more information about the districts and forums, the number of delegates allocated for each, and a description of the roles and responsibilities for the new directors and delegates.

Finally, I would like to sincerely commend the valuable leadership and many contributions of our current leadership.
