Have you ever wanted to be behind the microphone? Now’s your chance!
The California Society of Anesthesiologists is launching its first Podcast Host Contest, and we’re looking for new voices to join Vital Times, CSA’s podcast hosted by Dr. Ludwig Lin and Dr. Rita Agarwal.
Who can enter?
The contest is open to:
- Anesthesiology residents and fellows at California programs
- Medical students at California medical schools with an interest in anesthesiology
- Any year or subspecialty track
No podcasting experience is required. We want to hear your ideas, your perspective and your voice.
How to enter
Submit two things:
1. A 2–5 minute audio or video file
Introduce yourself or talk about a topic in anesthesiology that interests you. It doesn’t need to be polished—we want to hear how you think and communicate.
2. A 250–500 word written statement
Tell us why podcast hosting interests you, what topics you’d like to explore and who you’d want to interview.
What’s in it for you?
The winner will have the opportunity to host a published episode of Vital Times, receive mentorship from Dr. Lin and Dr. Agarwal, and gain visibility throughout the CSA community. The winner will also be recognized in the CSA Newsletter, on the CSA website and at the CSA Annual Meeting.
Strong submissions may also be considered for future features on the CSA website.
